Confirmation

Catholic confirmation is a sacrament of Christian initiation that deepens one’s connection with Christ and the Church by conferring the gifts of the Holy Spirit. It involves a bishop’s anointing with chrism (blessed oil) and the imposition of hands, signifying a personal commitment to faith and a strengthening to witness and spread the Gospel. This sacrament completes the journey of Christian initiation, which began with Baptism and is followed by First Communion
